Jim Leonhard announced that he’s signed with the New Orleans Saints on Monday.
Leonhard, 30, spent last season with the Broncos, but found very little interest on the open market this year. There was some speculation that the Bills could be an option, but there wasn’t a lot of buzz surrounding the idea in recent weeks.
Pro Football Focus gave him a solid rating, despite playing only 289 snaps for the Broncos. His coverage was actually pretty good, so he figures to be an asset for the Saints in that regard.
