Field Yates of ESPN reports that the New Orleans Saints have signed veteran TE Tom Crabtree to a contract on Tuesday.
New Orleans also brought in veteran TE Kellen Davis for a workout on Tuesday, so they were clearly looking to add someone this week with Jimmy Graham dealing with a shoulder issue.
Crabtree, 28, signed a two-year, $1.6 million contract with the Buccaneers back in 2013, but he lasted just a little over a year with the team before he was cut loose back this past May.
Last year, Crabtree appeared in seven games and caught four passes for 21 yards receiving and a touchdown.
