Saints Sign WR Shane Wynn To Futures Deal

The New Orleans Saints officially signed WR Shane Wynn to a future/reserve contract on Thursday.

Wynn becomes the 6th player to sign a future’s deal with the Saints. Here’s the full list:

  1. WR Shane Wynn
  2. WR Reggie Bell
  3. Alden Darby
  4. OT Bryan Witzmann
  5. Cyril Lemon
  6. CB Brandon Dixon

Wynn, 23, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana back in May of last year. However, he lasted just a few months in Atlanta before he was claimed off of waivers by the Browns.

Unfortunately, Wynn was among the Browns’ roster cuts coming out of the preseason and has since played for the Jets and Chargers.

The Saints added him to their practice squad close to a month ago.

During his time at Indiana, Wynn appeared in 48 games with 36 starts while recording 189 receptions for 2,189 yards receiving to go along with 20 touchdowns.
