Saints Signed CB Brandon Dixon To Their Practice Squad

According to Nick Underhill of The Advocate, the Saints have signed CB Brandon Dixon to their practice squad.

  • Dixon will replace recently released WR Sammy Seamster on the practice squad.

The Saints tried out Dixon last week, so it appears they were impressed enough to add him.

Dixon, 25, was a sixth-round draft pick by the Jets in 2014 and signed to a four-year contract. However, he was cut prior to the start of the season and signed on with the Buccaneers. Back in September the Patriots signed him off of the Buccaneers practice squad.

In 2014, Dixon appeared in 14 games in a reserve role in Tampa Bay. During that time, he accumulated: nine tackles, one interception, and two pass defenses.

Here is a complete list of each practice squad in the NFL.
