Saints Signing WR Corey Fuller Off Of Lions’ Practice Squad

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free-Press reports that the Saints are signing WR Corey Fuller off of the Lions’ practice squad on Monday.

Fuller, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in 2013. He spent his rookie season on the team’s practice squad and later returned to the team on a future/reserve contract the following year.

The Lions re-signed Fuller to a one-year, exclusive rights contract this past March. Detroit activated him from the PUP list last month but decided to waive him a few weeks later. Fuller signed to the team’s practice squad soon after.

In 2015, Fuller appeared in 12 games for the Lions and caught four passes for 76 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
