Saints Sign WR Ted Ginn Jr. To Three-Year, $11M Deal

Dianna Russini is reporting that veteran WR Ted Ginn Jr. is signing a contract with the Saints.

  • Ian Rapoport reports the Saints signed Ginn to a three-year, $11 million contract with $3 million guaranteed.

The addition of Ginn gives the Saints a potential replacement for WR Brandin Cooks, who has been traded to the Patriots.

Ginn, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2007. He spent three years in Miami and another three years with the 49ers before catching on with the Panthers for the 2013 season. Ginn later departed for a free agent contract with the Cardinals but lasted just one years in Arizona before returning to the Panthers on a two-year deal in 2015.

In 2016, Ginn appeared in all 16 games for the Panthers and caught 54 passes for 752 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
