Saints TE Jimmy Graham Dealing With A Partially Torn Plantar Fascia

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that Saints TE  Jimmy Graham is currently dealing with a partially torn plantar fascia in his foot.

Graham suffered the injury back in Week 6 during the Saint’s last minute loss to the Patriots. Despite New Orleans having their bye last week, Graham still has not recovered completely. He told Glazer that he is still dealing with a lot of pain in his foot, which means even if he does in fact suit up today, he is likely to be on a snap count.

Ideally, a full tear would be a better circumstance for Graham’s injury as it would allow some pain relief.

Graham will head in early to the stadium before the rest of the team to see if he can withstand the pain of running and cutting during warm ups. He is listed as doubtful for Week 8.
