Saints Waive CB Tony Carter From Injured Reserve

The New Orleans Saints waived CB Tony Carter from injured reserve on Tuesday, according to Nick Underhill.

Carter, 30, signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out Florida State of back in 2009. He briefly played for the Patriots and Vikings before rejoining the Broncos in 2011 when he signed to their practice squad.

The Colts signed Carter to a contract back in October, but he was unfortunately cut loose over a month ago before signing on with the Saints a few weeks later. New Orleans brought Carter back on a one-year deal back in February, only to place him on waivers with an injury designation this summer.

In 2015, Carter appeared in three games but did not record a single statistic.
