Saints Waive G John Fullington From IR With Settlement

The New OrleansĀ Saints officially waived G John Fullington from injured reserve with a settlement on Friday.

Fullington, 27, originally signed on with the Packers back in 2014. He lasted a few months in Green Bay before he was waived coming out of the preseason. He had brief stints with the 49ers and Cardinals before catching on with the Saints in 2016.

Fullington has been on an off of the team’s practice squad over the past few years, but was waived with an injury designation earlier in the week and later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.

In 2017, Fullington appeared in one game for the Saints.
