According to Nick Underhill, the Saints have waived RB Trey Edmunds and re-signed OL Josh LeRibeus on Monday.
Edmunds, 23, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland last year and managed to make the 53-man roster. He is in the second year of his Signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract and set to make base salaries of $555,000 and $645,000 over the next two years of the agreement.
In 2017, Edmunds appeared in all 16 games for the Saints and rushed for 48 yards on nine carries to go along with one touchdown and 65 kick return yards.
