According to Herbie Teope, the Saints worked out nine players on Tuesday, including veteran LB Mike Morgan.
Other players the Saints worked out include RB Darius Victor, G Drew Iddings, K Patrick Murray, QB Michael Birdsong, CB Dejaun Butler, DB Jhavon Williams, OL Chris Watt and LS Thomas Gafford.
Morgan, 29, signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of USC back in 2011. He signed a one-year, $1 million contract which included a $200,000 signing bonus.
The Seahawks placed Morgan on injured reserve before designating him as their player to return from I.R.
The Jaguars brought Morgan in for a workout earlier this offseason but did not sign him to a contract.
In 2016, Morgan appeared in nine games and recorded 12 total tackles, one interception, and one pass defense for the Seahawks.
