Saints Worked Out Four Linebackers

According to Howard Balzer, the New Orleans Saints brought in four free agent linebackers for tryouts last week including Zaire Anderson, Nigel Harris, Corey Nelson, and Scooby Wright.

Nelson has already agreed to a contract with the Falcons, but the other three are currently available.

Anderson has now worked out for the Jets, Jaguars and Saints in the past few weeks.

Anderson, 26, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska back in 2015. He re-signed with Denver each of the last three years under one-year exclusive rights contracts, but was unfortunately cut loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2017, Anderson appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and recorded 23 total tackles, one fumble recovery, and scored one defensive touchdown.
