Saints Working Out OL Eric Winston, Earl Watford & Dallas Thomas

Josh Katzenstein reports that the Saints are bringing in in free agent OL Eric Winston, Earl Watford and Dallas Thomas for workouts on Wednesday.

Saints RT Zach Strief is dealing with an MCL sprain, so it makes sense that New Orleans would take a look at some available offensive options this week.

Winston, 33, is a former third-round pick of the Texans back in 2006. He played six seasons for the Texans before bouncing around a bit with the Chiefs and Cardinals.

The Bengals signed him to a contract back in 2014 and he has spent the past three years in Cincinnati before returning to the team on a one-year, $1.08 million contract this past March. Unfortunately, the Bengals cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2016, Winston appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and played 279 total snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
