Sam Bradford Done For The Season?

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Ram QB Sam Bradford missed another practice yesterday and was seen wearing a walking boot again.

Bradford has said that he’s not ready to sit out games but added that the recent setbacks to his injured ankle are concerning.

The past two games I’ve gone out there, I feel like we’ve gone backwards,” said Bradford. “That is a bit frustrating, but in my opinion as long as it’s good to go, as soon as it feels right, I want to be out there with my team trying to help them win.”

Bradford was clearly effected by the injury during Monday nights loss to the Seahawks and at this point it’s safe to wonder whether it’s really worth risking further injury to him given that the team is 2-11. Head coach Steve Spagnuluo may want to have him in there as his job appears to be on the line but it’s clearly not in the best interests of the franchise to have Bradford playing through injury in a wasted season.
