- Matt Maiocco reports that Dawson receives a two-year deal.
Dawson will turn 39 this week, but he has been as reliable as ever for San Francisco, converting 32-for-38 attempts which includes tying a career long of 56-yard field goal.
Dawson ultimately set a 49ers franchise record with 26 consecutive field goals and manged to make 7 out of 7 attempts during the playoffs this year.
