Santana Moss As A Chicago Bear?

Larry Mayer of ChicagoBears.com writes that Washington Redskins WR Santana Moss would be a great fit for the Chicago Bears offense but adds that Moss’s size is similar to that of Johnny Knox and Devin Hester. Despite this, Mayer mentions that Mike Martz‘s offensive scheme has done a great job of utilizing players with size and skill sets.

Moss told Pro Football Talk that he would like to remain with the Redskins back in February.

“My first choice is to stay in Washington,” said Moss. “The fans are great. The organization has treated me well since day one. That’s where I want to be, when it’s all said and done.”

Moss would no doubt be an upgrade over Devin Hester but you have to wonder if adding a larger wide receiver that can give Jay Cutler some different options would be better for the offenses overall continuity.

Someone is going to give Moss a decent contract because of whats he’s been able to do throughout his career but the Bears could be a team to watch.
