According to Rich Campbell of the Washington Times, Redskins WR Santana Moss has “flashed” during the team’s full-squad drills, while “consistently getting separation over the middle on short and intermediate routes.”
Campbell adds that Moss has looked like “the Santana of old with his quick-burst movements.”
While this is certainly great news for the Redskins, it’s still only practice. There was some talk that Moss could be on the outs a few weeks back, but he’s apparently in a good position to secure a roster spot with the team for the upcoming season. As of now, Washington’s top four options at receiver should consist of Moss, Leonard Hankerson, Josh Morgan and Pierre Garcon.
