Santana Moss May Have To Take A Pay Cut To Remain In Washington

Rich Campbell tweets that Santana Moss‘ base salary increases from $2.65 million in 2012 to $4.15 million next season.

Moss, 33, is coming off a season in which he caught a surprising eight touchdown passes even with the additions of Pierre Garcon and Josh Morgan to the team’s receiving corp.

It’s hard to say how much cap space the Redskins will have to work with seeing as they still have plans to recover some of the cap room that they lost last year. Moss is still a serviceable player, but he may have to renegotiate his current deal to return to Washington next season.
