Seahawks CB Brandon Browner Expected To Miss At Least 4-6 Weeks

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll told reporters on Monday that CB Brandon Browner has tissue damage in his groin and should be out at least 4-6 weeks, per Curtis Crabtree.

There’s a chance that Browner’s season could be over, although a return for the playoffs is still a possibility.

Browner, 29, is in the final year of his contract and is set to be one of the more sought after cornerbacks in next year’s free agent market. Injuries can impact the type of contracts players ultimately sign, but if he is able to return at some point this season the injury probably won’t be a big issues with prospective teams.

Seattle will move forward with Richard Sherman and Walter Thurmond III manning the two corner positions.

We have Browner currently listed as the No. 13 player in our Top 50 -Free Agents list.
