Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Seahawks have claimed G Jordan Simmons and DB Simeon Thomas off of waivers on Sunday.
Thomas, 24, is a sixth-round pick by the Browns out of Louisiana in this year’s NFL Draft. He signed a four-year rookie contract worth $2.561 million that includes a $148,878 signing bonus.
He was among Cleveland’s final roster cuts on Saturday.
During his four-year college career, Thomas recorded 90 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions, 19 pass defenses, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.
