Seahawks Claim TE Brett Brackett From The Titans

The Seattle Seahawks have claimed TEĀ Brett Brackett off of waivers from the Titans, according to the NFL transactions release.

The Seahawks reportedly had interest in trading WR Percy Harvin for tight ends including Julius Thomas of the Broncos and Jordan Cameron of the Browns, but both teams apparently turned them down.

Brackett, 26, actually signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State back in 2011, but was later waived from the team’s practice squad in September. He has since had brief stints with the Jaguars, Eagles and Cardinals.

Tennessee signed him to a contract last week before waiving him a few days ago.
