This isn’t the first time the Seahawks have come up as a potential suitor for Thomas, as Ian Rapoport of NFL Media mentioned earlier in the week that the Raiders, Jaguars, and Seahawks could all be landing spots for him.
Last year, reports mentioned that the Seahawks checked in with the Broncos about the availability of Thomas before the trade deadline, so there could actually be something to this idea.
It makes you wonder if veteran TE Zach Miller could be a release candidate this offseason.
Thomas, 26, caught 43 passes for 489 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns over the course of 13 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 13 tight end in the league out of 67 qualifying players.
