Seahawks Exploring Available Kickers Including Jason Myers

Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times is hearing that the Seahawks are already exploring available kickers with one possibility being former Jaguars K Jason Myers.

Myers, 26, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent back in 2015 and has managed to make the team the past three seasons. He was in the final year of his three-year, $1.575 million contract and set to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season when the Jaguars waived him a few months ago.

In 2017, Myers has appeared in six games and converted 11 of 15 field goal attempts (73.3 percent) to go along with 15 of 17 extra point tries (88.2 percent).

We’ll have more regarding the Seahawks possibly adding a kicker as the news is available.
