Seahawks Fielding Trade Offers For C Patrick Lewis

Pro Football Talk reports that the Seahawks are shopping C Patrick Lewis in a potential trade ahead of tomorrow’s deadline to cut rosters down to 75 players.

There have been a number of centers to come up in recent days in trade rumors, so it appears to be a buyers market right now.

Lewis, 25, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Green Bay before catching on with the Browns, Jaguars, and Seahawks.

The Seahawks re-signed Lewis to a one-year, $1.671 million contract back in April.

According to OverTheCap.com, trading Lewis would free up $1,671,000 in available cap space while creating no dead money.

In 2015, Lewis appeared in nine games for the Seahawks and played a total of 741 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
