Seahawks Hosted DL Letroy Guion For A Visit Friday

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Seahawks hosted free agent DT Letroy Guion for a visit on Friday.

The Packers have said that they are hoping to re-sign Guion, even after his recent off-the-field issues, but it looks like there’s a chance there could be other suitors interested in him.

Seattle has met with a number of defensive line free agents in recent weeks, so this could be them doing their due diligence in regards to all of their available options.

Guion, 27, was arrested on February 3rd in possession of marijuana and an unloaded hand gun.  While the case was settled without a conviction, Guion can still be suspended under the league’s personal conduct policy.

In 2014, Guion recorded 32 tackles, 3.5 sacks and has been a solid run-defender in the middle the Packers’ defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 61 defensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players last year.
