Seahawks Hosted LB Dekoda Watson For Visit

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Seahawks brought in free agent LB Dekoda Watson for a visit on Thursday.

Earlier in the week, Broncos executive VP John Elway told reporters that they’re interested in re-signing Watson. However, Nicki Jhabvala reported Watson has a visit scheduled with for Wednesday night and another lined up for Thursday.

Watson, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2010. He wound up playing out his rookie contract with the team before signings on with the Jaguars in March of 2014.

Jacksonville elected to release Watson during his first season with the team. After brief stints with the Cowboys and Patriots, Watson later signed a one-year, $760,000 contract with the Broncos.

In 2016, Watson appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and recorded 17 tackles, one sack, and a forced fumble.
