Seahawks Hosted Veteran DT Nick Hayden For A Visit

Sheil Kapadia of ESPN reports that the Seahawks brought in veteran DT Nick Hayden for a visit on Monday.

This is the first reported interest in Hayden since the free agent market opened well over a month ago.

Hayden, 30, is a former sixth-round pick for the Panthers back in 2008. He spent three years in Carolina before joining the Bengals for a few months and later signing on with the Cowboys back in February of 2013.

Dallas elected to bring Hayden back on a one-year contract last year.

In 2015, he appeared in 16 games for the Cowboys last year and recorded 47 tackles, no sacks, a fumble recovery and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has Hayden rated as the No. 115 interior defensive lineman out of 123 qualifying players.
