Seahawks Hosting CB Tramaine Brock On A Visit

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, citing a source with knowledge of the situation, reports that the Seahawks are bringing in free agent CB Tramaine Brock for a visit.

This is the first reported interest in Brock since the felony domestic violence case against him were dismissed, due to a lack of evidence.

Brock, 28, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Belhaven College back in 2010. He was in the final year of his five-year, $17.323 million contract and set to make a base salary of $3.1 million for the 2017 season when the 49ers cut him in a move that freed up $3.55 million of available cap space.

In 2016, Brock appeared in all 16 games for the 49ers and recorded 59 tackles, no sacks, one interception, a forced fumble and 14 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 23 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
