Pro Football Talk is reporting that free agent DE C.J. Wilson will visit with the Seahawks at some point next week.
The Seahawks have already signed DT Ahtyba Rubin to a one-year contract and re-signed DT D’Anthony Smith last week, so they are clearly targeting defensive line depth in the weeks leading up to this year’s draft.
Wilson, , is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2010. He played out his four-year, $1,900,354 rookie contract with Green Bay and signed a one-year agreement with the Raiders in March of last year.
In 2014, Wilson appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 23 tackles, two sacks, and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 27 defensive end out of 59 qualifying players.
