Seahawks Intend On Having Matt Hasselbeck Next Season?

A few weeks ago, when the NFL lockout was briefly lifted, the Seattle Seahawks began passing out their playbooks to players but at the time QB Matt Hasselbeck wasn’t given. This could be seen as a sign that the team doesn’t intend on re-signing him but Hasselbeck managed to get a copy none the less.

I didn’t get one,” Hasselbeck told 710 ESPN, via Liz Matthews. “It definitely hurt my feelings, but it’s alright because all my teammates gave me theirs. So it worked out. It worked out fine.”

The fact that Hasselbeck wanted a playbook suggests that he either plans on returning to the Seahawks or that he was curious of the changes that have been made now that Seattle has a new offensive coordinator.

Other reports have mentioned that Hasselbeck has been working out with some of his teammates in recent weeks so there is a good amount of momentum towards a possible return to Seattle.
