Seahawks Place 4 On PUP List, Sign DT Rodney Coe

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll announced that they’ve placed WR Tyler Lockett, S DeShawn Shead, DE Dion Jordan and OT Justin Senior on the PUP list Sunday, per Curtis Crabtree.

Lockett, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2015. He’s in the third year of his four-year, $3.318 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $615,000 and $705,000over the next two years.

In 2016, Lockett caught 41 passes for 597 yards receiving to go along with six rushing attempts for 114 yards and two total touchdowns. He also contributed 606 kick return yards and another 243 punt return yards over the course of 15 games.

Jordan, 27, is a former first-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2010. He had two years remaining on his four-year, $20.572 million rookie contract when the Dolphins recently cut him loose.

The Dolphins traded up to No. 3 overall to select Jordan, but he hasn’t come anywhere close to living up to his draft status and has been suspended twice since entering the NFL for performance-enhancing drug violations and undergone two knee surgeries.

In 2014, Jordan appeared in 10 games and recorded 20 tackles, one sack, and a pass defense for the Dolphins.

Coe, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Akron back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months with the Cowboys before he was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

The Buccaneers signed him to their practice squad a few weeks into the regular season and was on and off of their active roster before eventually joining the Jaguars’ practice squad toward the end of the season.

The Seahawks signed him to a future/reserve contract this past January but was waived shortly after this year’s draft.

During his college career, Coe recorded 83 tackles, 2.5 sacks, four pass defenses, a forced fumble and a recovery.
