Seahawks Promote WR Keenan Reynolds, Waive TE Darrell Daniels

The Seattle Seahawks announced that they have officially promoted WR Keenan Reynolds from their practice squad to the active roster and waived TE Darrell Daniels in a corresponding roster move.

Reynolds, 24, was selected with the No. 182 overall pick by the Ravens back in 2016. There was some question as to whether he would be allowed to differ service time to play in the NFL but the Naval academy decided that he could defer his military service.

Reynolds was on and off of the Ravens’ practice squad during his rookie year and returned to the team on an exclusive rights deal last past April. Baltimore once again cut him loose coming out of the preseason and he spent the year on the Redskins’ practice squad.

The Seahawks signed Reynolds to a contract in May before adding him to their practice squad at the start of the regular season. He’s been on and off of their active roster this year.

In 2018, Reynolds has appeared in two games for the Seahawks but has not recorded any statistics.

Daniels, 23, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Washington back in May of last year. Indianapolis later traded Daniels to the Seahawks in return for Marcus Johnson coming out of the preseason.

Daniels was waived by the Seahawks and re-signed to their practice squad. Seattle promoted him to their active roster last month.

In 2018, Daniels has been active for nine games, but has yet to record a statistic for the Seahawks.
