Seahawks Promoting LB Jordan Tripp To Active Roster

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll told reporters on Monday that they plan to promote LB Jordan Tripp to their active roster following their decision to place LB Mike Morgan on injured reserve, per Curtis Crabtree.

Tripp, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in Miami before he was waived and later signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad.

Jacksonville, unfortunately, cut Tripp loose coming out of the preseason and he later signed on to the Seahawks’ practice squad.

In 2015, Tripp appeared in 12 games and recorded 14 tackles for the Jaguars.
