Team Sports Agency announced that their client TE Tyrone Swoopes has been promoted from the Seahawks’ practice squad to the active roster.

Swoopes, 23, signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in May of last year. He converted to play tight end in the NFL after appearing as a quarterback during his college career.
He has bounced on and off Seattle’s practice squad since joining the league.
In 2017, Swoopes appeared in one game for the Seahawks but did not record any statistics.
During his four-year college career as a quarterback for Texas, Swoopes recorded 281 completions on 499 attempts (56.3 percent) for 3,038 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.
