Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls left during the first quarter of Sunday’s game with a left ankle injury.

A Ravens defender fell on Rawls’ left ankle while the team was in the red zone. He was able to limp off the field under his own power, but the Seahawks quickly ruled him out for the remainder of the game.

Veteran RB Fred Jackson will take over as the Seahawks’ No. 1 running back for the remainder of the game.

Rawls, 22, was filling in for Marshawn Lynch, who has been out with an abdominal injury. He signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan back in May.

This season, Rawls has appeared in 12 games and ran for 786 yards on 141 carries (5.6 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 76 yards receiving and five total touchdowns.

We’ll have more regarding Rawls’ injury as the news is available.
