Seahawks Re-Sign CB Neiko Thorpe

The Seattle Seahawks announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed CB Neiko Thorpe to a contract.

Thorpe, 27, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in 2012. He spent two years in Kansas City before he signed a future/reserve contract with the Raiders at the end of 2014.

Thorpe returned to Oakland on a one-year exclusive rights deal in 2015, but he was cut loose during the preseason. The Colts later claimed him off waivers only to cut him a few days later.

Thorpe would later sign with the Seahawks a few weeks into the regular season.

In 2016, Thorpe appeared in 15 games and recoded 19 tackles and no interceptions or pass defenses.
