Schwartz and Feinsod reports that the Seattle Seahawks have re-signed DT Clinton McDonald.
Earlier in the week, the Seahawks brought in a number of free agent defensive tackles for workouts now that Brandon Mebane and Tony McDaniel are dealing with injuries. McDonald’s familiarity with the Seahawks defensive scheme most likely gave him the edge over the other players.
Seattle currently has Jordan Hill and D’Anthony Smith as the next guys up. It’s also worth noting that Chris Clemons is expected to be back for Sunday’s game against the 49ers.
