The Seattle Seahawks announced Thursday that they’ve re-signed RB Christine Michael.
Michael, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2013. He was traded to the Cowboys at the start of the season for a conditional seventh-round pick.
He was in the third year of his four-year, $3.374 million rookie contract when the Cowboys cut him last year. After clearing waivers, the Redskins signed him to their practice squad before releasing him in December.
The Seahawks elected to bring him back to bolster their running back depth for the remainder of the season.
In 2015, Michael appeared in eight games and ran for 243 yards on 54 carries (4.5 YPC) to go along with three receptions for 16 yards receiving and a touchdown.
