Seahawks Re-Sign RB Demitrius Bronson, Cut OL Greg Van Roten

The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed RB Demitrius Bronson due to Christine Michael sustaining a hamstring injury, according to Bob Condotta.

Bronson, 24, signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington back in June. Seattle wound up cutting him on Monday as they worked to get down to 75 players ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.

During his four-year college career, Bronson ran for 689 yards on 197 carries (3.5 YPC) while contributing eight receptions for 51 yards receiving and 14 totals touchdowns.

Van Roten, 24, signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Pennsylvania back in 2012. He appeared in 10 games for the Packers, but was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Seahawks in February.
