Seattle ultimately used a second-round tender on Kearse that will pay him a salary of $2.356 million for the 2015 season.
Kearse, 25, signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Washington back in 2012. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent next March, so he’s clearly entering a very important season.
Last year, Kearse appeared in 15 games and caught 38 passes for 537 yards receiving and a touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 81 receiver out of 110 qualifying players in 2014.
