Seahawks Re-Sign RFA C Patrick Lewis & 3 ERFAs

The Seattle Seahawks announced that C Patrick Lewis officially signed his one-year restricted tender on Monday.

The Seahawks used a low-round tender on Lewis that will run them $1,671,000 for the 2016 season. This designation also gave them the right of first refusal on any contract offer he received, but wouldn’t have included any compensation had they elected to not match an offer.

Lewis, 25, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Green Bay before catching on with the Browns, Jaguars, and Seahawks.

In 2015, Lewis appeared in nine games for the Seahawks and played a total of 741 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
