Seahawks Re-Sign CB Jeremy Lane To A Four-Year, $23M Deal

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Seahawks are re-signing CB Jeremy Lane.

  • Rapoport reports that Lane receives a four-year deal worth $23M and includes $11M guaranteed.

Lane, 26, was taken in the sixth-round of the 2012 Draft by the Seahawks. He’s played out his rookie contract and was among the best available cornerbacks after the first round of signings.

Lane, unfortunately, missed the first 10 weeks of the 2015 season due to a serious knee injury he suffered in the Super Bowl a few years ago.

In 2015, Lane appeared in six games and recorded 13 tackles, two interceptions and six pass defenses.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.

  1. Huge. Keeping Lane in house buys us time to draft new blood and organize the young CBs we already have.
