Seahawks Re-Signing Veteran DT Tony McDaniel

The Seattle Seahawks are signing veteran DT Tony McDaniel to a contract, according to his agent David Canter.

McDaniel, 31, originally signed on with the Jaguars back in 2006 as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee. After three years in Jacksonville, McDaniel was traded tot eh Dolphins in return for a seventh-round pick that ultimately became WR Julian Edelman. He later signed on with the Seahawks in 2013 before being released a few years later.

McDaniel spent the 2015 season with the Buccaneers before testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2015, McDaniel appeared in 14 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 25 tackles, a sack, and a pass defense.
