Seahawks Reach Agreement With TE Anthony McCoy On A One-Year Deal

Ian Rapoport reports that the Seahawks and TE Anthony McCoy have agreed to a one-year contract that will keep him in Seattle.

McCoy, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2010. Unfortunately for him, he’s deal with injuries in recent, which has prevented him from appearing in an NFL game since 2012.

Last year, McCoy suffered a torn left Achilles’ tendon back in July that cost him the entire 2014 season. Before that, McCoy missed all of the 2013 season with a torn right Achilles, so hopefully he’s able to stay healthy and put together a full season next year.
