Seahawks Reportedly In “Love” With Pittsburgh DT Aaron Donald

The Seattle Seahawks brass are reportedly in “love” with Pittsburgh DT Aaron Donald, according to Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net.

  • Pauline mentions that it appears as though Donald has “carried the momentum of his Senior Bowl performance to the Combine.”
  • Pauline adds that the Seahawks made Donald “a lot of money” based on how they utilized their defensive tackles last season.
  • According to Pauline, Donald has posted 40-yard-dash times of in the “high 4.5’s/low 4.6’s” in recent training sessions.

Yesterday, Pauline mentioned that recent “rumblings” suggest that the Chicago Bears are “very interested” in taking him as early as No. 14 overall, so it appears as though Donald could go fairly high in the draft.

Josh Norris of Rotoworld has previously tossed out a comparison to Packers DT Mike Daniels.

We have Donald going to the Broncos at No. 31 overall in our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft, but they could apparently be too low.
