Seahawks Rule Out RB Marshawn Lynch For Week 5

The Seattle Seahawks officially ruled out RB Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) for Week 6’s match up against the Bengals.

Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said during a recent interview with KIRO Radio that Lynch was “really close,” but still likely to be a game-time decision Sunday.

However, it appears as though Carroll would prefer to play it safe with their No. 1 running back and give him another week to heal.

With Lynch out of the lineup and Fred Jackson dealing with an injury of his own, Seattle will be forced to give Thomas Rawls plenty of work against the Bengals.

It’s worth mentioning that Jackson could still suit up for this weekend’s game.

Lynch, 29, has appeared in three agmes this season and ran for 128 yards on 38 carries (3.4 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 61 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
