Seahawks Have Shown Interest In LB Karlos Dansby, Cardinals Have Yet To Reach Out

Mike Jurecki of Fox Sports 910 is hearing that the Seahawks have “some interest” in veteran free agent LB Karlos Dansby since he became available.

  • As for the Cardinals, Jurecki reports that that they’ve yet to reach out to him.

The Cardinals have come up a few times as a potential landing spot for Dansby, given that he’s looking to play for a contender and has spent time in Arizona in the past.

It’s worth mentioning that signing Dansby to a contract wouldn’t factor into a team’s 2017 compensatory picks.

Dansby, 34, was in the third year of his four-year, $24 million contract that included $12 million guaranteed when he was released in a move that freed up $3.5 million in available cap space for the Cardinals.

In 2015, Dansby appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and recorded 109 tackles, three interceptions with two being returned for touchdowns, three forced fumbles and six pass defenses.

We have him featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
