The Seattle Seahawks officially signed LB Arthur Brown to a contract on Friday after he visited with the team earlier in the day.
Brown is actually the brother of former Seahawks RB Bryce Brown.
Brown, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Ravens but hasn’t come close to living up to his draft status. Brown was in the final year of his four-year, $3.554 million contract when the Ravens cut him loose coming out of the preseason and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Jaguars.
Brown’s stay in Jacksonville was limited to just a few weeks, as he was waived and this time claimed by the Jets. Unfortunately, New York moved on from Brown back in December.
The Patriots brought him in for a workout towards the end of the year, but did not sign him to a contract.
In 2016, Brown appeared in 14 games and recorded three tackles for the Jaguars and Jets
