Seahawks Sign RB Troymaine Pope To Practice Squad, Waive WR George Farmer

The Seattle Seahawks have officially signed RB Troymaine Pope to their practice squad on Friday and waived WR George Farmer from the unit, according to Bob Condotta.

The Seahawks’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Kenny Lawler
  2. LB Kache Palacio
  3. OL Will Pericak
  4. WR Marcus Lucas
  5. DT Tylor Harris
  6. WR Kasen Williams
  7. G Robert Myers
  8. DT Justin Hamilton
  9. RB Troymaine Pope
  10. DB Pierre Desir

Pope, 22, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State back in May. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later claimed off of waivers by the Jets.

New York elected to cut Pope loose earlier in the week.

In 2016, Pope has appeared in one game and ran for one yard on a single carry for the Jets.
