Seahawks Sign Undrafted Free Agent WR George Farmer, Converting To Defensive Back

According to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times, the Seahawks have signed undrafted free agent WR George Farmer and that he will convert to defensive back once joining the team.

A former five-star recruit out of USC, Farmer did not live up to the expectations he received coming out of high school. Regardless, he has gained a fair amount of attention based on his physical abilities.

Farmer, 22, was signed by the Cowboys back in May, but was waived last week. Last season, Farmer accumulated 25 receptions for 314 yards and four touchdowns. It is worth mentioning that he missed the entire 2013 season due to injuries.

Farmer will compete for a roster spot while with Seattle.
